Patriotic Rally in Elbow Lake on Oct 20, 2012

Cynthia Khan was born and raised in a Christian home in Pakistan. She married a Christian and moved with her husband to Saudi Arabia, where they lived for 10 years. In this Muslim country, where Sharia law is strictly enforced, women’s faces must be covered and they cannot drive automobiles. No Bibles, Christian material or worship is permitted. They did find a way to worship in secret with other Christians and then decided they could no longer stay in a country so opposed to Jesus. They emigrated to Canada, then to Detroit, Michigan where there is a large Muslim population. Cynthia and her husband now work full time with POBLO, a Christian mission to Muslims. She stresses that this is the best nation in the world, and that we must continue to protect our freedom to worship God.

WHAT: Join us in celebrating our country’s freedoms through musical tributes, patriotic songs and Cynthia’s story.
